Unless otherwise stated, the firm and all lawyers employed by the firm are a member of the local chamber of Lawyers, which is the Rechtsanwaltskammer München, Tal 33, 80331 München.

In addition to his German qualification as Rechtsanwalt, Mr Markus Ludwig is admitted as an Irish Solicitor in the Republic of Ireland and holds a current practicing certificate issued by the Law Society of Ireland. The supervisory body in Ireland is: The Law Society of Ireland, Blackhall Place, Dublin 7. Ms Laura Keogh is a member of the Rechtsanwaltskammer München and also admitted in the Rebublic of Ireland to practise as an Irish Barrister. The supervisory body for barristers in Ireland is: The Honourable Society of the King’s Inns, Henrietta St, Dublin 1.

PROFESSIONAL INDEMNITY INSURANCE

Professional indemnity insurance is held with HDI-Gerling Firmen und Privatvers. AG, Dürrenhofstr. 4-6, 90402 Nürnberg

The geographical scope of the insurance covers activities in the Member States of the European Union. It satisfies or exceeds the minimum requirements of section 51 of the Federal Lawyers’ Act [Bundesrechtsanwaltsordnung – BRAO].

The relevant professional law regulations applicable to a Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH under German law and all German lawyers (Rechtsanwälte) practising in Germany include the Federal Lawyers’ Act (Bundesrechtsanwaltsordnung – BRAO), the Rules of Professional Practice (Berufsordnung), the regulations relating to accredited specialist lawyers (Fachanwaltsordnung), the Lawyers’ Fees Act (Rechtsanwaltsvergütungsgesetz – RVG) and Code of Conduct for European Lawyers.
